Great work this week guys!
We've translated about 1.2k of lines this week.
Our goal is to finish tling, editing and hacking the game in three months.
I'm planning to finish Miki's route in the next two week as I can only translate about 1k+ line a week.
I'll be kind of inactive next month due to Atelier Meruru releasing ^_^ and some problem with my units in college.
Btw, we need hackers who'll do the script insertion in the game=D
I borrowed my brother's laptop for the meanwhile, so hopefully now I can progress a bit with the editing...
ReplyDeleteAlso, I believe once we have everything ready, finding a hacker willing to inject the script will be easy :P
Well I got the scripts out, I'm still editing them (posting them will be a little pain too I think). I might be able to repack the scripts, I have learned quite a few things while trying to pull them out, so hopefully by then I won't have any problems with it. Still, if there are experienced hackers available they are more than welcome.
ReplyDeleteBtw, translation is still taking me quite some time, so once I post the scripts, you are welcome to pick and traslate any of them too.
Oh if you can repack them that would be one less thing to worry about, that's good.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if possible, when you guys have some time to spare I would like to ask you to read the common route script and check for mistranslations. I fear some parts of the translation made by Koto aren't accurate to the original, and therefore I can't edit them properly...
I'll do some consistency check to match the translations and adaptations in the next coming week. I think that Koto's tl's are more accurate than mine but i'll still re-check it after finishing Miki's Route.
ReplyDeleteI also think Koto's work is more accurate than mine, and I know the translation and adaptation consistency might be an issue. I'm also leaving some notes in some lines that need recheking, and honestly I think I should put that on many more lines but then it'll make things more confusing, so I'm leaving them like that for now.

Yeah for the most part its good, just sometimes I feel like something is really off. For example, could you help me with lines 133 and 134 on here?

Don't worry about it. I have all of Shiori's stuff. I'm the one who coded the formatting tools after all, lol.
